Chelsea's proposal of £64 million for Bournemouth's Alex Scott has been turned down.
As reported by BBC Sport, Bournemouth is asking for approximately £80 million for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Scott is also drawing attention from Chelsea’s Premier League competitors, Manchester United and Arsenal.
The English player is now in the last two years of his agreement with the Cherries.
It remains uncertain whether Chelsea will increase their offer for Scott before the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea has already brought in players such as Morgan Rogers, Marco Palestra, Emmanuel Emegha, Geovany Quenda, and Valentin Barco for their coach, Xabi Alonso.
